If your staircase bends this is not a problem, it just simply means you will require a curved stairlift. The only difference from a straight stair lift is the track. With a curved stairlift, the track is made specially to custom fit the bend in your staircase. We offer curved stairlifts for rental, reconditioned and brand new. The stairlifts are very easy to use and come with a full 2 years warranty for peace of mind.

If power is disconnected from the lift, it will continuously beep. Let's check the power supply first.
Many stairlifts have a key switch for safety. It's usually found on the armrest, under the seat, or on the carriage body.
Stairlifts need to rest on charging contacts/plates to keep the batteries charged. If the batteries aren't charging, the lift will continuously beep.
Most stairlifts have safety sensors that prevent movement unless everything is locked into place.

For straight stairlifts, we can often arrange installation within a few days of your enquiry. Curved stairlifts require a custom-made track, so these take a little longer to manufacture and fit
Yes. Modern stairlifts are designed with slim profiles and foldable seats/footrests to leave plenty of room for other stair users. During our survey, we will measure your specific width and gradient to ensure a safe fit. If a standard lift is not appropriate there are other options such as stand/sit adaptations.
All our stairlifts are fitted with a backup battery. In the event of a mains power failure, the lift will continue to work for several journeys, ensuring you are never stuck halfway.
Standard stairlifts typically support up to 19–20 stone (approx. 120–127kg). We also offer heavy-duty models for users requiring a higher weight capacity. Please mention this when you call so we can advise the best model.
No. The track is fitted directly to the stair treads (the steps), not the wall. This means there is no structural damage to your walls, and installation is clean and mess-free.
